In this special terroir, a brilliant combination of mountain and sea, generation after generation, the 300 vine growers of “Orealios Gaea” cultivate their vineyards and produce the unique wines of Kefalonia. The grapes used for San Gerasimo, originate from semi-mountainous vineyards of Kefalonia, that are still cultivated with traditional techniques, offering low yields and exquisite quality.

TASTING NOTES
Strong and complex aromas of citrus fruits, especially grapefruit, with notes of honey and flowers. A juicy and balanced on mouth wine, with the clarity of its crunchy acidity, intensity and a fresh finish.
VINIFICATION
o Harvest from the beginning till the end of August.
o Cold extraction at 8◦C for 6 hours.
o Fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
o Inoculation with yeast of mild cultivation.
o 3 months stay on fine lees
o Controlled temperature of fermentation 15-17◦C.
o Capping with DIAM.
