In this rare land, which is made from the brilliant combination of mountain and sea, generation to generation, the 300 vine growers of “Orealios Gaea” are cultivating their vineyards and producing the unique wines of Cephalonian tradition. The grapes that are intended for the Glykorogos, originate from many different vineyards all over Cephalonia, that are cultivated with traditional techniques and give exquisite quality.

TASTING NOTES
This explosive combination of mountain and sea of Cephalonian land, gives the Glykorogos, aromas of strawberry marmalade, cherries and roses, with notes of lavender and cinnamon, and touches of bitter chocolate and caramel. A sweet and balanced wine.

VINIFICATION
o Harvest from the beginning till the end of August.
o Condensation of sugars (sundried grapes).
o Fermentation in stainless still tanks.
o Inoculation with yeast of mild cultivation.
o Controlled temperature of fermentation 15-17◦C.
o Capping with DIAM.

VARIETAL COMPOSITION
o Mavrodaphne (60%) and Muscat (40%).
